Bessingby Hall is an extended Georgian manor house with 5 acres of grounds built on the edge of Bessingby village which lies on the outskirts of Bridlington not far from Bridlington hospital. We are a residential home and provide specialist Dementia Care. We also provide day care facilities and respite care. All our services are provided for older people of any background irrespective of race or religion according to the highest standard of quality care.
The majority of accommodation is provided in single occupancy bedrooms although there are double rooms available if required. A number of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
Bessingby Hall has 65 bedrooms in total, which all have a friendly, family atmosphere.
We can offer hospital beds, air mattresses, pressure cushions along with other aids to make your stay more comfortable
Being involved in what is going on and taking part in fun activities is a essential part of life. Our approach to residential care focuses on ensuring that a wide range of activities and social events are regularly organised, such as functions and events, film nights, card and board games and many more. Birthdays of residents are always celebrated. We encourage our residents to take part in the many activities available locally.
Burlington Care strongly support the provision of a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet for all residents. The approach to nutrition taken is based upon choice and quality for residents. We take pride in providing tasty, tempting meals for our residents. Mealtimes are regarded as enjoyable social occasions for most residents, although those who wish to eat their meals in their own rooms are enabled to do so. Each resident will be asked for their individual food preferences as well as their cultural, religious or health needs and these will be taken into account when planning menus.
