Foresters Lodge is one of our nursing homes in Bridlington. We provide nursing, residential and dementia care. The needs of the Residents are the priority of our well trained and friendly care staff. Our objective is to provide for the health and social needs of each of our residents with professionalism, compassion and experience. We will care for them as an individual through understanding, respect and dignity.
Foresters Lodge has 69 en-suite bedrooms in total, which all have a friendly, family atmosphere. Our accommodation is made up of single and shared rooms, to meet our resident’s needs.
All of the rooms are accessible by wheelchairs with the majority on the ground floor. We offer hospital beds, air mattresses, pressure cushions along with other aids to make your stay more comfortable.
Being involved in what is going on and taking part in fun activities is a vital part of life. Our approach to residential care focuses on ensuring that a wide range of activities and social events are regularly organised, such as wine and cheese parties, pub lunches in the Bridlington area, film nights, card and board games, slide shows and many more, which are designed to reflect the wishes and interests of our customers and help them maintain close bonds with their local community. Foresters Lodge is well served by the visiting library. From time to time, Bridlington community groups and staff provide entertainment for the residents. Birthdays of residents are always celebrated. We encourage our residents to take part in the many activities available locally, such as regular meetings, religious services.
Burlington Care strongly support the provision of a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet for all residents. The approach to nutrition taken is based upon choice and quality for residents. We take pride in providing tasty, tempting meals for our residents. Mealtimes are regarded as enjoyable social occasions for most residents, although those who wish to eat their meals in their own rooms are enabled to do so. Each resident will be asked for their individual food preferences as well as their cultural, religious or health needs and these will be taken into account when planning menus.
