The residents at Sutton Hall and Lodge had a great St Patrick’s Day.
In one St Patrick’s Day activity, the residents made masks.
Later, while the residents enjoyed a glass of Guinness or Baileys, the staff set up the karaoke so everyone could join in and have a good old sing-a-long of Irish Hits.
Without a doubt, the pub atmosphere and the tipple or two of Guinness and Baileys helped everyone find their singing voices!
Barbara, a former choir singer, was on fantastic form and soon encouraged the others to join in.
Barbara commented, ” I haven’t sung this much since I don’t know when!”
Rita, who enjoyed the celebratory mood, said, “I love the Irish masks.”
Everyone agreed that making the masks and then the karaoke had made it a lovely St Patrick’s Day.
